About Me

Hello! I am an engineer interested in developing useful and interactive products and experiences, irrespective of the medium. I aspire to be able to design and develop products and solutions.

I love interactive media such as video games, Virtual Reality and Augmented/Mixed Reality, as they are great platforms of expression to communicate meaningful messages and connect with people, even if it is simply creating happy and fun experiences for others.

I enjoy designing hardware solutions and engineering products, as I strongly believe that holistic solutions can emerge from the integration of hardware, software and user-centric design.

Diploma in Game Development & Technology, Nanyang Polytechnic – learnt game development techniques, programming algorithms, computer graphics, game design and visual art techniques.

Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science), Nanyang Technological University – learnt about computing systems, software engineering and system design, engineering design.

Work Experience

Robotics Engineer Intern, GovTech Singapore (May 2021 – Nov 2021)
Robotics
Assessed Boston Dynamics’ Spot API and developed a web dashboard in JavaScript that communicates with the robot over MQTT.
Developed ROS packages and wrote Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs for in-house prototype robot, working with Robotics Middleware Framework (RMF) and Gazebo simulations.

Assisted in the Cyborg Insect research project to develop a real-time location system (RTLS) using ultra-wideband (UWB) communication.

Evaluated the vulnerability of a hardware security feature, Arm TrustZone-M, using voltage fault injection to bypass an application written in C flashed onto a microcontroller.

Developed an interactive web graphing tool using Unity3D and Node.js for organisations to visualise and design their own organisation’s IIoT stack, and assisted in Industry 4.0 transformation workshops at the Digital Capability Center.


Mixed Reality Developer, HelloHolo (Apr 2017 – Jan 2019)
MR software development
Worked closely with clients to create and showcase bespoke mixed reality (MR) experiences for the Microsoft HoloLens on Unity3D, and aid clients in deployment, device trainings and on-site technical support.
Conducted developer courses on emerging MR technologies and MR application development.
On-site showcase of MR technologies and bespoke solutions at Innovfest Unbound 2018, CommunicAsia 2017 and Tech Saturday 2017.
