The Dreamer Boy (AR Storybook)

The Dreamer Boy is a short children’s Augmented Reality (AR) storybook as my Multimedia Assignment for HZ9101: Introduction to Creative Writing. The AR storybook is can be read via detecting a custom Vuforia Image Marker through a custom mobile app developed on Unity.

During the class presentation for the assignment, the story was narrated live by myself while the animated scenes of the story was displayed to the class over AR.

View the animated scenes of the story in AR here:

The AR storybook was developed in Unity 2017.2.2p2 with the Vuforia Augmented Reality Support (deprecated in newer versions of Unity). The scenes were animated in Unity.

*The 3D models, except the Monster, were not modelled and rigged by me.
